Custom fish aquariums have become a recent fad for couples in recent years. Some large fish tank installs do require a great deal of work but some feel the pay off of having this fomerly lavish addition added to their domain is worth. A lot of planning and preparation goes into these custom fish tank installs and nobody has a clue unless they've done it themselves.

For many years, fish aquariums were a novelty that you could only see at a select few amusement parts and SeaWorld. However, several people have figured out a cost efficient way to bring the new fad into their homes. A large fish tank integrated into a piece of furniture or into the wall seems to be the fastest growing trends in custom made fish aquariums. A big concern was leaking water and dying fish, but recent development in fish tank construction has almost eliminated that concern altogether. People of all ages can appreciate the movement of fish and a well lit fish aquarium does a great job of showcasing the fish in action.

People have been enjoying fish tanks for years. I remember when I got my first goldfish and was overjoyed at the thought of having my very own pet. Though he died a few days later as a result of me overfeeding him, my experience with the fish tank supplies and responsibility of timely feedings taught me lessons that I would later utilize; my next fish lived an astounding two weeks. My brother and I had a great time experimenting with the various ways would effect the fish tank lighting and thus influence the fish's movements. We would usually just tap the glass fish tank a few times, hoping Freddy (the fish) would do something impressive. We were disappointed every time.
